In 2024, Jemena became an official member of Methane Guiding Principles.

This is a voluntary membership we have entered which focuses on action in industry and government to reduce methane emissions from the natural gas supply chain. The Methane Guiding Principles support gas supply chain businesses like ours on ways to reduce methane emissions. By joining the initiative as a partner, we commit to:

• demonstrating a commitment to continually reducing methane emissions

• advancing performance across the whole natural gas supply chain

• improving data accuracy

• advocating for sound policy and regulations

• increasing transparency.
